The Eastern Dragons kept their stellar home record intact last night when they beat Hyderabad FC. Josep's men climb to the sixth spot with two games to go.

With this win, the pressure is back on the Blues as they take on Kerala Blasters at home later today. Odisha FC came into this on the back of a draw against the Gaurs and had nothing on their mind besides three points.

Josep Gombau made sure that his side got to a strong start and that is what the boys did. OFC dominated more of the ball and created a total of 9 attempts on goal whereas the Nizams managed to marshal only three.

Diego Mauricio was the one to look out for as the Brazilian pestered the HFC defense with five attempts on target of the combined nine.

Midfield General Saul Crespo orchestrated the game from the middle of the park and almost came close to scoring with a close-range header from a corner. The Eastern Dragons kept on pushing till the point when Isak Ralte produced a screamer from 30 yards out and gave OFC the lead.

HFC restored parity through Nim Dorjee right at the death of the first period as Borja found the defender from a dead ball delivered in by Joel.

Amrinder pulled off an outstanding save early in the second half denying Chianese from close range. With 15 minutes to go, Diego's marauding run into the box pulled three HFC defenders to the left as an unattached ball found Nandha who unleashed a shot towards the HFC goal which garnered a deflection off Nim and rolled into the back of the net.

The Brazilian's tenacity was finally reimbursed in the final minute of the game when Isaac lobbed the ball over the defense to beat HFC's offside trap and Diego finished it off from an acute angle doubling the lead and securing all three points for the hosts.

Odisha FC travels to the Highlands next to take on Northeast United FC in their final outing of the season.
