The Juggernauts face the Mumbai test on 15th October.


After an emphatic comeback against Jamshedpur FC, Odisha FC head to Mumbai for their second away game of the season. Diego & Isaac were showstoppers against the Red miners and will hope to replicate a similar performance against the Islanders.
 

Mumbai City FC will play their first home game against the Juggernauts at the Mumbai Football Arena. This will be Des Buckingham's second season in charge of the Islanders. There were several incomings for MCFC this transfer window with the likes of Greg Stewart, Bhaskar Roy, Rostyn Griffiths, Alberto Noguera & Jorge Pereyra Diaz making permanent moves to the club.

MCFC Departures: Diego Mauricio, Mohamad Rakip, Vikram Lakhbir Singh, Naorem Tondonba Singh, Huidrom Naocha Singh, Bradden Inman, Igor Angulo, Cassio Gabriel, Pranjal Bhumij, Valpuia, Chanso Horam.
 
The Islanders impressed in the AFC Champions League campaign picking up two wins and finishing in the second position in the group which was the best performance by an Indian club side in the competition. Mumbai City FC also reached the Durand Cup final where they narrowly lost to Bengaluru FC.

Defending champions Hyderbad FC and Mumbai City FC took a point each as both sides kicked their Hero Indian Super League (ISL) campaign off with an enthralling 3-3 draw at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.
