Odisha FC faced Eastern Sporting Union in an early morning kick-off on Wednesday at the Transstadia Stadium, Ahmedabad. After a defeat in their last outing, Odisha FC came out all guns blazing to beat Eastern Sporting by 4-0.
Anju opened the scoring in the 17th minute, courtesy of a delightful assist from Bala. Anju then returned the favor in the 25th minute with a teasing cross that Bala headed into the net to double Odisha FC's lead. OFC went to halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
OFC had a perfect start to the 2nd half with Grace making an immediate impact by delivering a precise cross to Jasoda who scored to make it 3-0 for OFC.
Eastern Union tried to play some long balls to put pressure on OFC but the defence was unmoved. Lynda closed the perfect morning by scoring OFC's fourth goal with virtually the last kick of the game. The game ended with OFC emerging victorious with a score of 4-0.
