The Kalinga Warrior's second-half resurgence helped them beat Maziya S & RC in the Maldives.

This win keeps Odisha FC's hopes alive for qualifying for the Inter-Zone Semi-Final.

Maziya came prepared for the first half as they took an early lead through Naiz Hassan while confusion broke out about whether it was a legit goal or not. The goal stood eventually.

CY came close to drawing us level in the seventh minute but his shot was just wide. The boys slowly settled into the game when Roy's attempt got blocked in the 12th minute.

In the 25th minute, the visitors conceded a penalty following Mourtada's foul on Balabanovic. The hosts extended their advantage. Amrinder pulled off a massive save to deny Maziya right at the brink of half-time.

Odisha's comeback started in the 65th minute with Jahouh managing to find Fall again as the Senegalese detached from his marker and headed it in from a precise Jahouh corner.

Diego Mauricio leveled things up in the 72nd minute. Jahouh yet again with a special delivery into the box for the Brazilian to put the ball away beyond the goalkeeper's reach.

The comeback was complete in the 85th minute when Roy Krishna decided to take matters into his own hands. The Fiji International held off a defender as we went on to dribble past one and with an exquisite finish gave Odisha the lead and the winner.
