Pranjal Bhumij has joined Odisha FC on a contract running till the end of the current season, with the option of a further year.
A DSK Shivajians product, Pranjal made his first professional debut in the I-League against Churchill Brothers. He scored his first goal against Shillong Lajong which DSK went on to win in stoppage time 3-2.
The versatile and extremely talented winger signed for Mumbai City FC as a developmental player in 2017 and went on to commit his future at the club till 2024.
When asked about Pranjal's arrival, Sergio said:
"I know him very well from my period at Mumbai City FC and I am sure that he has a profile that adapts very well to our idea of the game. I am sure that he will help us achieve our goals."
Pranjal shares a special relationship with Assistant Coach Floyd Pinto. Floyd gave Pranjal his first national team call-up in 2017 for the SAFF U19 Championship.
The Assamese winger debuted for the #BlueTigers against Nepal in Bhutan.
