Talented youngster to play for the Juggernauts in the upcoming season

Odisha FC Women has signed prodigious young Odisha State team midfielder Jasoda Munda for the upcoming season.

Hailing from the football hotspot of Sambalpur, Jasoda played for the Sambalpur Women’s Football Team until 2014. She made the switch to Nita Football Academy in Bhubaneswar in 2016, where her immense talent found guidance under the tutelage of Odisha’s beloved Women’s football coach, the late Shri Nanda Kishore Patnaik.

Jasoda represented Odisha in the U-18, U-19 and Senior National Championships between 2017 and 2019. Her participation in the Senior Nationals got her a job with Odisha Police, who she represented post the pandemic from 2021. Jasoda played her first Odisha Women’s League in 2018 for Rising Student Club and won the 2021/22 OWL with Odisha Police. She represented Sports Odisha in the tournament’s most recent instalment.

Club Owner Rohan Sharma welcomed Jasoda to the club saying,

“We are thrilled to have one of Odisha’s brightest young players in Jasoda to be playing for the club. She has all the skills and talent to make a huge impression for the club, and hopefully for the country in the near future. We hope she has a great season with Odisha FC and wish her all the best.”

We would like to welcome Jasoda to the club and wish her all the best for the season.
