As Odisha FC starts training for the upcoming eighth season of the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL), the club management has called up seven players from the youth setup for the first team trials during the pre-season training camp in Goa.

CVL Remtluanga, Rishabh Dobriyal, Deven Sawhney, Jones Lalthakima, Ronaldo Wairokpam, Akshunna Tyagi, and Reuben Letkhotinchon are the former youth team players who performed well for the Club’s under 18 side and they have been given a chance to showcase their talent during the pre-season.
 

Remtluanga, Deven, and Reuben were trained at the Aspire Academy in Doha as the club’s partnership with the academy then. On the other hand, Jones, Rishabh, Akshunna, and Ronaldo were handed professional contracts last year after their stellar show in the Hero Elite League in 2019-20. Last season, another youth team graduate Lalhrezuala Sailung made his professional debut in the Hero ISL and scored his maiden goal for the Club as well.
