Odisha FC suffered a 3-1 loss against Bengaluru FC at the Kanteerava on Saturday.

The Juggernauts started the game strong keeping more of the possession and creating early chances. Josep Gombau went into this game with an unchanged eleven that played against EBFC whereas Simon Grayson made one change which was bringing Jhingan in place of Jovanovic.

Despite a promising start, OFC was at the receiving end of two quickfire goals from the Blues. Rohit Kumar drew first blood when Javi's cross was cut back by Alan Costa straight into Rohit's feet who put the ball at the back of the net. As the Juggernauts surged forward three minutes later Shiva burst down the left and put the ball through for Roy Krishna who calmly slotted the ball past Amrinder giving the hosts a 2-goal cushion.

The second half started off with both sides displaying high-intensity end-to-end football. Bengaluru created a few chances but Amrinder managed to deny the hosts. Diego Mauricio beat Parag with his close-control dribbling before being brought down by Gurpreet inside the box. The referee pointed to the spot, and Mauricio stepped up only to send Gurpreet the wrong way and pull one back for the Juggernauts.

Victor Rodriguez picked up an injury in the 70th minute and was replaced by Pedro Martin. The fourth official added 6 minutes at the end of the regular 90. Udanta and Pablo pounced on the counter and gave the Blues a comfortable 3rd goal to see the game off.

BFC will travel to #TheFurnace next to take on Jamshedpur FC while the Juggernauts will not be in action the next match week and will head off to Kolkata to face the Mariners on 28th January.
