The #KalingaWarriors orchestrated a spectacular win against Mohun Bagan Super Giant beating the Mariners 5-2 in their #AFCCup clash at the Salt Lake stadium.

The win in Kolkata hands Sergio Lobera's side a significant boost to their qualification chances in the AFC Cup. Odisha FC will face Bashundhara Kings in their final group-stage fixture at the Kalinga Stadium on 11th November.

The Mariners took an early lead courtesy of Hugo Boumous in the 17th minute. OFC equalized shortly after in the 29th minute, when CY floated over a good cross from the right flank which was cleared by Asish Rai but Roy pounced on the loose ball and blasted it past the keeper drawing the visitor's level.

Two quick-fire goals from the Kalinga Warriors came in the latter stages of the first half when Jahouh played an inch-perfect pass from the free-kick to find Roy down the right who squared it into the box for Diego to finish handing OFC the lead in the 32nd minute.

In the 41st minute, CY caught Glan Martins off guard with an amazing run who finished it off in style extending OFC's lead at the end of the first period.

The hosts pulled one back in the second half through Kiyan in the 63rd minute, Amey's headed clearance was not good enough and Hugo took advantage and drove into the box to find Nassiri at the end of his cross who headed it past Amrinder.

In the dying stages of the game, a well-crafted free-kick routine found Roy again drilling a low and hard cross into the box, finding Aniket who slotted it past the keeper.

Jahouh was at it again when he caught the Mariner's defense sleeping when he quickly took a goal-kick and hoiked it down the ground to find Isak who finished off the game with an audacious chip from outside the box, scoring Odisha's 5th of the night.

UP NEXT:

Odisha FC will be back in ISL action with a trip to Jamshedpur to take on the #RedMiners on 1st November at the JRD Tata Complex.
