The Kalinga Warriors have returned to winning ways as the squad played three games in 8 days and won all three.

Simon Grayson's Blues visited the Kalinga Warriors after Sergio's men tasted an unfortunate defeat in Kochi. The Spanish tactician wasted no time to bounce back.

A turnaround victory at home against BFC pushed the squad to perform in the following games. A clean sheet and a hard-fought victory against the Highlanders was another massive three points at home.

The Kalinga Warriors are yet to be beaten at the Kalinga Stadium in the Indian Super League, making it an absolute fortress.

Going away to Maldives and pulling off an incredible second-half resurgence just propelled the confidence of the entire squad going into the break.

The boss penned down an emotional message on Instagram after our win against Maziya recently:

"After more than three months working at this club and with this group of people, I can say that I am proud and happy to be part of this family.

It is a pleasure to be able to work with players/professionals and people like those I am lucky enough to work with.

We are on the right track! We are a family, we will continue to grow together, suffer together and I am sure that we will achieve success together.

Now to enjoy the well-deserved rest to come back stronger."

WHAT'S NEXT?

Sergio's side will travel to Kolkata for an all-important #AFCCup fixture against the Mariners on 27th November. Kick-off is scheduled at 19:30 IST. The game will be broadcast live on Sports18 and FanCode.
