Princeton Rebello signs for Odisha FC from FC Goa.

The club is pleased to confirm that talented midfielder, Princeton Rebello will join the club on a permanent move from FC Goa which will keep him at the club till 2024.

Rebello, born in Betalbatim, Goa, started playing football at four with kids from his neighborhood. Eban Mesquita, a Velsao Pale Sports Club coach from Betalbatim, scouted Rebello while playing in a U-8 football tournament and got him to join Velsao Pale.

In July 2014, Rebello moved out of India to England and joined the U-15 side for Queens Park Rangers. After that in mid-2016, The Goan native re-joined his former head coach Eban Mesquita at Goa Professional League club side Vasco. Rebello recorded six assists and three goals with Vasco.

While Princeton was with FC Goa's development team, he made a move to the Indian Arrows, the All India Football Federation’s development squad on a loan basis for the 2017–18 Hero I-League season.

During the 2017 SAFF U-18 Championship, Rebello was a member of the India U19 team. A 30-yard freekick from Rebello was India's first goal of the tournament. In November 2017, Rebello was called-up again for India's 2018 AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers.

In the Hero ISL 2018-19 season, he developed his skills with FC Goa's first team and made eight appearances in the 2019-20 season also plying his trade in the AFC Champions League in 2021. Rebello played a more prominent role for the Gaurs in Hero ISL 2020-21 season.

The club would like to welcome Princeton to the fold and wishes him the best for the remainder of the season and his time at the club.
