Young midfielder Nikhil Raj has departed for the India U-23 camp for the upcoming AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2022 Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Sahil Panwar was unable to leave for the camp as he suffered an injury in the friendly game against Churchill Brothers. The Club’s medical team consulted with the National Team medical staff and took a mutual call to focus on Sahil’s recovery for the Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) season.

On the other hand,  20-year-old Nikhil is with OFC as a part of a loan agreement with Kickstart FC. He has been a regular member of the Karnataka team in two editions of the Santosh Trophy and was awarded the best midfielder in the BDFA Super Division last season. He went on loan to the Indian Arrows and made nine appearances for them in the previous season of the Hero I-League.
