Head Coach Josep Gombau & goalkeeper Amrinder Singh briefed the media ahead of the clash against Kerala Blasters.

Josep Gombau was asked about the importance of this game as the Juggernauts will look for a winning start at home and especially support from the home fans. Read some excerpts from the press conference below...

Josep Gombau:

How are you preparing from tomorrow's game against Kerala Blasters?
"It feels so good to be back at home and in Odisha. We have good memories at the Kalinga Stadium when I was here before. All the players are excited to play in front of the fans and are ready to put in a solid performace tommorow. We hope that a lot of people come to watch the game and we can start a winning journey here at the Kalinga Stadium."

What is your approach for the game tomorrow?
"Kerala is a very strong opponent. I think this year the Hero ISL has a lot of good teams. Tomorrow we are facing a side which played the finals last year and are with the same coach and lot of the players as well. We are expecting a good game. The team has a distinct style which I want to implement at the club. We are ready."

Amrinder:

You will be facing a tough opponent tomorrow but they are coming into this game after a loss. What is your strategy as a team?
"Kerala are a good team and they have a good coach as well. The most important thing that we need to focus on things we need to do in the game. For me the most important thing is how we play. The coach wants us to play in a certain style and if are able to execute the things he wants us to do, I think we can hurt anyone in the league.
